Sunwah – On 31^st October 2020, the Final round of Creative Ideas Contest 2020 was organized at Information Technology Park, under Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-ITP), with the participation of 10 outstanding student startups and hundreds of students, investors, startup-supported organizations, leading experts in technology field, and many more.

The Creative Ideas Contest 2020 (CiC) is hosted by Innovative Entrepreneurship Center (under VNU-ITP) and co-organized by Saigon Hi-Tech Park Incubation Center, University of Science, University of Economics and Laws and International University as well as supported by Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology and VNU-HCM Startup Support Fund. Additionally, the Contest was sponsored by many well-known organizations, including Sunwah Innovation Center (under Sunwah Group). Winning teams of CiC 2020 will have the chance to work in modern offices at Sunwah Innovation Center, launching at the end of 2020.

CiC 2020 aimed at inspiring young generations on startup thinking, improving skills and knowledge, as well as creating competitive environment for students to turn their startup ideas into successful businesses. This year contest attracted 250 startup projects with 700 participants from 84 universities and colleges across Vietnam, reaching more than 600,000 students. During the Contest, participants received trainings and underwent 4 rounds to select the Top 10 Finalists. The Champion this year is CiC28 Team with Korona Board Game project developed by students from University of Science (under VNUHCM) and Can Tho University. This board game is designed for young children aged 6 – 12 to play in a group of 2 – 6 people using 54 cards that contain COVID-19 prevention messages inside.

At the Contest, VNU-ITP also organized an exhibition named “Startup & Innovation Day 2020” showcasing startup projects and technological solutions to celebrate the 5^th Anniversary of the Contest.
