University of Social Sciences and Humanities delegation visited Sunwah Group

Sunwah – On the morning of 11th June 2020, Sunwah Group received a delegation from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH) led by Dr Phan Thanh Dinh, Vice Rector of USSH.

Mr Jesse Choi, Director of Sunwah Vietnam, received the delegation and introduced Sunwah Group’s 50 years of success in Vietnam in not only business but also social service activities. Mr Jesse Choi also introduced the Sunwah Global Young Leaders Network and invited USSH’s students to join the Network to enhance their leadership skill through various social service activities and culture exchange projects sponsored by Sunwah Foundation.

 The year 2020 marks the 50th Anniversary of Sunwah Group’s operation in Vietnam. As part of a series of celebratory activities for the 50th Anniversary, Sunwah Group is working with USSH, which is under the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (VNUHCM), to establish the USSH – Jonathan KS Choi Cultural Centre in their main campus  in the central district of Ho Chi Minh City. With its prime location, the new Cultural Centre will be connected with the ULIS – Jonathan KS Choi Cultural Centre in Hanoi as well as other Jonathan KS Choi Cultural Centres in various countries. The Cultural Centre will also be linked to Sunwah Innovation Center in Ho Chi Minh City and serves as a platform for young leaders to connect, exchange ideas, incubate innovative initiatives and expand their networks.

After the visit, the delegation was highly impresed with Sunwah Group’s achivements and contribution to the socio – economic development of Vietnam. Dr Phan Thanh Dinh hoped that the partnership between Sunwah and USSH in particular and VNUHCM in general will be further enhanced. The University also invited Dr Jonathan Choi, Chairman of Sunwah Group and Sunwah Foundation, to be the keynote speaker at various conferences at the University to promote entrepreneurship and creativity among young Vietnamese people.
