Sunwah launched the Danang – Greater Bay Area Innovation Space and joined DAVAS 2025

Sunwah – On 29 – 30 May 2025, Mr. Jesse Choi, Regional Director of Sunwah Group in Southeast Asia and CEO of Sunwah Innovations, participated in a series of activities in Danang, including the launch of the Danang – Greater Bay Area (GBA) Innovation Space and the Danang Venture and Angel Summit 2025 (DAVAS 2025).

The Launching Ceremony took place on the morning of 29 May at Enosta Space and welcomed the participation of  Mr. Le Duc Vien – Director of Danang Department of Science and Technology; Ms. Le Thi Thuc – Deputy Director of Danang Department of Science and Technology; Mr. Melvin Lee – Head of Business and Talent Attraction / Investment Promotion, Invest Hong Kong; Representative of the Consulate General of China in Danang; and over 100 guests including investors and business leaders from Vietnam and abroad.

At the event, Mr. Jesse Choi highlighted Sunwah’s recent initiatives to support Danang’s innovation ecosystem and emphasized: “The Danang – GBA Innovation Space represents Sunwah’s long-term commitment to helping Danang grow into a leading regional innovation hub.”

During a meeting with Danang City leadership, Mr. Jesse Choi introduced the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area Entrepreneurs’ Alliance, founded by Dr. Jonathan Choi, Chairman of Sunwah Group. The Alliance aims to promote cross-border collaboration in investment, trade, and innovation. Mr. Ho Ky Minh, Standing Vice Chairman of Danang People’s Committee, expressed hopes that through Sunwah and the Alliance, Danang can better tap into the GBA’s strategic resources—especially in innovation, green finance, circular economy, and sustainable development.

On 30 May, Mr. Jesse Choi participated in the “Green Investment – Sustainability and Social Impact” panel discussion as part of DAVAS 2025, where he proposed positioning Danang as a regional green finance hub. Sunwah also co-organized a sharing session with the Danang Tourism Association, connecting tourism startups from Hong Kong to introduce sustainable travel solutions.
