Sunwah Group Leads Chinese Business Delegation To The Vietnam–China Investment And Science & Technology Business Forum Co-Organized By

Sunwah On the afternoon of May 26, 2026, the “Vietnam – China Investment and Technology Exchange 2026”, jointly organized by Sunwah Group, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Entrepreneurs Alliance, the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Singapore, and the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), was successfully held at VCCI Headquarters in Hanoi. Dr. Jonathan Choi, Chairman of Sunwah Group, led a delegation of approximately 80 Chinese entrepreneurs to attend the event, where they engaged in in-depth exchanges and business matching activities with representatives from the Vietnamese business community, industry associations, and relevant organizations.

The delegation brought together Chinese business representatives from a wide range of sectors, including technology, manufacturing, energy, agriculture, trade, construction, and innovation. Distinguished guests attending the event included Professor Ho Sy Hung, Chairman of VCCI; Ms. Elsa Hung, Director of the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Singapore; and approximately 160 representatives from Chinese and Vietnamese enterprises, industry associations, and related institutions.

In his welcoming remarks, Professor Ho Sy Hung highly appreciated the positive achievements in Vietnam – China economic and investment cooperation in recent years. He emphasized that Vietnam is currently prioritizing the development of high technology, the digital economy, green transformation, and innovation, creating tremendous opportunities for deeper collaboration between enterprises from both countries. He also expressed his hope to strengthen cooperation with Sunwah Group and its affiliated business associations, with a view to creating more business opportunities through existing cooperation mechanisms.

Dr. Jonathan Choi then delivered a keynote address on future cooperation directions. He noted that as Vietnam – China relations continue to deepen, an increasing number of Chinese enterprises are turning their attention to the Vietnamese market. Significant opportunities exist in high technology, intelligent manufacturing, green energy, digital transformation, and supply chain cooperation. He highlighted that the delegation comprised enterprises from various provinces across China, with a strong focus on technological innovation, smart industries, and healthcare, which are highly aligned with Vietnam’s development priorities.

Ms. Elsa Hung, Director of the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Singapore, subsequently introduced Hong Kong’s strengths as an international financial centre, regional trade hub, innovation and technology platform, and provider of international business services. She also expressed her hope to further strengthen cooperation among enterprises from Hong Kong, Vietnam, and Mainland China.

During the thematic sharing and business exchange sessions, Vietnamese and Chinese enterprises engaged in discussions on technological innovation, digital transformation, intelligent manufacturing, and sustainable development. NTQ Factory shared insights into smart factories and Industry 4.0 digital transformation trends in Vietnam. Viettel Solutions presented its capabilities in cloud computing, data centres, artificial intelligence, and smart city development. TH True Milk introduced its experience in high-tech agriculture and green supply chain development.

Baiwu Technology shared solutions related to artificial intelligence and enterprise digital operations. In addition, Anhui Lanshi Glass Technology Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu Qinghe Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. presented their technological applications and practical experience in advanced construction materials and environmentally friendly water treatment solutions.

The event concluded with a business matching session, which provided an effective platform for enterprises from both countries to explore cooperation opportunities across technology, manufacturing, agriculture, energy, trade, and the digital economy.

On the same afternoon, Dr. Jonathan Choi held a separate working meeting with Professor Ho Sy Hung, Chairman of VCCI. Dr. Choi shared Sunwah Group’s future development plans in Vietnam and emphasized the importance of promoting bilateral business exchanges and cooperation between Vietnam and China. He also expressed his hope that VCCI would continue to serve as a bridge by providing guidance and support for Chinese enterprises seeking investment and business opportunities in Vietnam.
