Opening of Jonathan KS Choi Cultural Center of Japan at Kyushu University

Sunwah – On 20th July 2018, the Opening Ceremony of the Jonathan KS Choi Cultural Center of Japan was held in Kyushu University in Fukuoka prefecture, Japan.

The Jonathan KS Choi Cultural Center of Japan is a joint project between the Jonathan KS Choi Foundation and Kyushu University to promote educational – cultural development and international exchanges. Dr Jonathan Choi, Chairman of Sunwah Group, Sunwah Foundation and Jonathan KS Choi Foundation officiated the Opening Ceremony.

The Ceremony was attended by around 100 Guests of Honor, most notably the Consul-General of China in Fukuoka, Mr He Zhenliang; Chairman of the Kyushu Economic Forum, Mr Susumu Ishihara; Fukuoka Prefectural Governor, Mr Hiroshi Ogawa; President of Kyushu University, Dr Chiharu Kubo; as well as many high-level leaders from various business associations in Japan and Hong Kong such as the Fukuoka Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Hong Kong Chinese General Chamber of Commerce and representatives from many well-known Japanese enterprises.
