The Hong Kong Trade Development Council delegation’s visit to Sunwah Vietnam

Sunwah – In the afternoon of 31 May 2023, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) delegation led by Mr Ronald Ho, Regional Director of South East Asia and South Asia, and Ms Tina Phan, Director of Indochina, visited the Sunwah Innovation Center Ho Chi Minh City, and met with Mr Jesse Choi, Director of Sunwah Southeast Asia, and Ms Katie Nguyen, Representative of Sunwah Group in Ho Chi Minh City.
After a brief tour around the Innovation Center, the two parties then conducted in-depth discussions on the possible cooperation between HKTDC and Sunwah in terms of trade promotion, innovation and investment in various sectors.

At the meeting, Mr Jesse Choi introduced the Group’s business activities in Vietnam for more than 50 years, Sunwah’s innovation activities, and the support for many Hong Kong delegations coming to Vietnam to explore potential investment and business expansion opportunities. Mr Jesse Choi hoped that with HKTDC’s initiatives, there would be more opportunities for Hong Kong businesses to grow and succeed in Vietnam.

Mr Ronald Ho shared about HKTDC’s upcoming projects to support Hong Kong companies exploring the opportunities and expanding their business to South East Asian countries. He also noted his appreciation for Sunwah’s support to HKTDC over the years and hoped to receive Sunwah’s participation in HKTDC’s projects.
