Meeting between Sunwah Group and Vietnam Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Sunwah – On the evening of 3 August 2022, a delegation led by Dr Jonathan Choi, Chairman of Sunwah Group, had a meeting with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr Nguyen Minh Vu.

At the meeting, Dr Jonathan Choi briefed about Sunwah’s 50-year history of development in Vietnam and upcoming projects to promote partnership between Hong Kong and the Guangdong – Hong Kong – Macao Greater Bay Area with Vietnam. Those projects include training courses and knowledge exchange events on Puer tea production jointly organized by Sunwah Group, the Vietnamese Consulate in Kunming (China), the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and various tea manufacturers in Northern provinces of Vietnam; promotion for exporting Vietnamese agricultural products to overseas markets; and supporting Chinese enterprises to invest in Vietnam.

Mr. Jesse Choi, Director of Sunwah Southeast Asia and Sunwah Vietnam, also introduced Sunwah Innovations’s achievements in the field of innovation since 2018 and affirmed Sunwah’s commitment to supporting the young Vietnamese in entrepreneurship and innovation.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Minh Vu welcomed Sunwah Group’s contribution to Vietnam’s socio-economic development over the years. He also welcomed the Group’s upcoming projects in innovation and exporting of Vietnamese agricultural products overseas. He hoped that Dr Jonathan Choi and Sunwah Group will further promote the partnership between China and Vietnam.
