On 13 January 2017, at Diaoyutai State Guesthouse, the Party chief hailed Sunwah Group for a string of investment projects in Viet Nam while receiving its Chairman, Dr Jonathan Choi.

Viet Nam always enables and creates favorable ways for foreign investors to do business in Viet Nam, said Mr Trong.

Chairman Jonathan Choi revealed that he always regarded Viet Nam as his second homeland and wanted to boost cooperative ties with Viet Nam.

The Chairman briefed the Party leader about Sunwah’s successful operation in Viet Nam in aquaculture and coffee production, real estate, finance, cultural cooperation, and community charity.

He also hoped to receive more support from the Vietnamese competent agencies to expand footholds in Viet Nam in advantageous fields like seaport building, metro, walking tunnels and other potential areas in Vietnam.
