Sunwah – On 6 September 2022, Chairman of Sunwah Group Dr Jonathan Choi had met with Professor Nguyen Dong Phong, Chairman of the University Council of University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH). The lunch was attended by Mr Jesse Choi, Director of Sunwah Group in Southeast Asia; Ms Katie Nguyen, Representative of Sunwah Group in Ho Chi Minh City; and Ms Janice Le, Representative of Sunwah Group in Hanoi.

UEH is a long-term partner of Sunwah Group in the fields  innovation and education. During the lunch, Dr Choi briefed the Group’s recent activities and upcoming projects, including the establishment of the Sunwah Innovation Center Ho Chi Minh City, support the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Bay Area’s enterprises entering Vietnam, promoting Vietnamese agricultural and seafood products exports to the Chinese market, and many more.

Ms Katie Nguyen, the Group’s representative in Ho Chi Minh City, introduced the Group’s recent collaboration with various leading universities, including the University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and Vietnam National University to support the transformation of scientific and technological achievements.

Professor Nguyen Dong Phong expressed his appreciation for Sunwah Group’s growth and contributions in Vietnam and his desire to work with Sunwah to support the innovation ecosystem and boost agricultural exports.
