Sunwah Group visited and met with the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City

Sunwah – On 24 March 2022, after receiving the invitation from the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (VNUHCM), a delegation from Sunwah Group paid a visit to VNUHCM in Thu Duc City. From Sunwah Group, there were Mr Jesse Choi, Director of Sunwah Vietnam and Sunwah Innovations; Mr Jason Choi, Director of Sunwah Guangdong – Hong Kong – Macao Greater Bay Area; and Ms Katie Nguyen, Deputy Director of Sunwah Innovations. From VNUHCM, there were Assoc. Prof. Vu Hai Quan, Chancellor of VNUHCM; Assoc. Prof. Ngo Thi Phuong Lan, President of VNUHCM-University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH); and Dr. Bui Thi Hong Hanh, Director of VNUHCM-Department of External Relations and Project Development.

Sunwah delegation visited VNUHCM campus, the AI Education and Training Center Information of VNUHCM Technology Park, and USSH buildings. The delegation also had a meeting with Chancellor Vu Hai Quan and USSH President Ngo Thi Phuong Lan to discuss about collaboration opportunities. At the meeting, the Chancellor noted that Sunwah Group and VNUHCM have an long history of cooperation and introduced various new development projects of VNUHCM as well as hoped that the University and Sunwah Group will collaborate on more projects in the coming time.

Mr Jesse Choi expressed his appreciation for the warm welcome of Chancellor Vu Hai Quan and VNUHCM and highlighted many initiatives in innovation organized by VNUHCM and USSH in recent years. He also introduced about the Sunwah Global Youth Innovation Center. Mr Choi shared that the Guangdong – Hong Kong – Macao Greater Bay Area is a potential region for the development of startups and young entrepreneurs. He would like to connect VNUHCM with leading universities in the Greater Bay Area to jointly promote entrepreneurship and innovation. With available international resources, Sunwah Group affirmed their commitment to further support VNUHCM and their member universities in the development of innovation in the fields of social, education, and international exchange.
