The Hong Kong “Exploring Innovation in Vietnam” delegation visited Vietnam

Sunwah – On 3rd July 2019, Sunwah Group received the Hong Kong “Exploring Innovation in Vietnam” delegation of 46 professors and students led by Dr Herman Hu, Hong Kong Deputy of National People’s Congress of PRC to HCMC to explore the innovation in Vietnam. With the support of Sunwah, the delegation had a successful visit to the Information and Technology Park under Vietnam National University HCMC (ITP-VNU) in the morning.

In the afternoon, Mr Jesse Choi, Director of Sunwah Vietnam, received the delegation at Sun Wah Tower and introduced about Sunwah Group’s business and activities worldwide, including Sunwah’s 50 years of success in Vietnam.

Later, Sunwah co-organized a workshop with VNU HCMC to share about the 4.0 Industry in the Guangdong – Hong Kong – Macao Greater Bay Area and Vietnam in its city campus with attendance of almost 70 professors and students. Mr Jesse Choi, Dr Herman Hu and Prof Vu Hai Quan, Vice Chancellor of VNU HCMC, were keynote speakers.

In the evening, Sunwah hosted a Dinner to welcome the delegation as well as to facilitate more exchanges between them, VNU and Hong Kong Business Association in Vietnam (HKBAV), Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC). Mr Johnson Choi, Executive Director of Sunwah Group and General Director of Sunwah Vietnam, hosted the Dinner and delivered the Welcome speech.

On 5th July, the delegation went to Hanoi and visited the ULIS – Jonathan KS Choi Cultural Centre and gained deeper understanding of Sunwah Group’s contribution, not only in economic fields but also to the development of culture – art of Vietnam.
