Vietnam – China Conference on Technology Innovation and Industrial Cooperation 2026

Sunwah – On the afternoon of 26 May 2026, the “Vietnam – China Conference on Technology Innovation and Industrial Cooperation 2026” was successfully held at the Sunwah – Chinese Enterprises Go Global Center (Ho Chi Minh City), attracting around 150 delegates from government agencies, business associations, experts, and enterprises from both Vietnam and China.
The Conference was jointly chaired by the Commercial Sub-council of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam. The event was co-organized by the Science and Technology Enterprise Development Center under the Ministry of Science and Technology of Vietnam, together with the Ho Chi Minh City Investment and Trade Promotion Centre (ITPC). The program was also supported by Sunwah Group, the Guangdong -Hong Kong – Macao Greater Bay Area Entrepreneurs Alliance (GBA Alliance), and affiliated business associations under the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam.
Distinguished guests attending the event included Mr. Yang Miao – Consular Attaché of the Consulate General of China in Ho Chi Minh City; Ms. Wang Xi – Vice Chairwoman of the Commercial Sub-council of CCPIT; Mr. Pham Van Thinh – Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Bac Ninh Province; Ms. Cao Thi Phi Van – Deputy Director of ITPC; along with representatives from government agencies, associations, and enterprises from both countries.

In their opening remarks, speakers highlighted the growing potential for cooperation between Vietnam and China in the fields of technology, industry, and innovation. Ms. Wang Xi noted that bilateral economic and trade cooperation has maintained strong momentum in recent years, and expressed confidence that technological innovation and industrial connectivity would become new drivers for future collaboration. Representatives from Bac Ninh Province also introduced the province’s investment environment and industrial development advantages, while welcoming Chinese enterprises to invest and expand their operations in Vietnam.
In addition to panel discussions on technology, supply chains, and business connectivity, the conference also witnessed the signing of several strategic cooperation agreements in areas such as infrastructure development, logistics, cold chain systems, and warehousing, further promoting practical industrial cooperation between the two countries.

Notably, Mr. Jesse Choi – Regional Director of Sunwah ASEAN and Chairman of the Guangdong – Hong Kong – Macao Greater Bay Area Entrepreneurs Alliance in Vietnam, delivered a speech at the conference. During his presentation, he shared Sunwah Group’s more than 55-year development journey in Vietnam and highlighted the Group’s investment strategy in high technology, innovation, and green energy sectors. He also emphasized Sunwah’s role in supporting Chinese enterprises in expanding into international markets through its extensive ASEAN network and strong local operational experience in Vietnam.
As a supporting and coordinating partner of the conference, Sunwah Group reaffirmed its commitment to continuing collaboration with partners to strengthen economic, technological, and innovation cooperation between Vietnam and China, while leveraging its international network and resources to support enterprises from both countries in expanding trade and business opportunities in the future.
