Mr Jesse Choi, Director of Sunwah Vietnam, visited Korea Trade – Investment Promotion Agency in Ho Chi Minh City

Sunwah – On 31 July 2020, Mr Jesse Choi, Director of Sunwah Vietnam, had a meeting with Mr Kim Kwan Mook, General Director of Korea Trade – Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC), and other leader representatives of KOTRA. During the meeting, Mr Jesse Choi introduced about Sunwah Group’s business worldwide and in Vietnam. He noted that this year marks the 50th Anniversary of Sunwah Group in Vietnam and invited Mr Kim to join a series of celebratory events, including the “50 Student Environmental Ambassadors in Vietnam”, International Film Forum Hanoi, grand openings of USSH – Jonathan KS Choi Cultural Centre and Sunwah Innovation Center. Mr Jesse Choi also offered Sunwah Galleria, in Sunwah Pearl project, the USSH – Jonathan KS Choi Cultural Centre and Sunwah Innovation Center as ideal venues for KOTRA’s upcoming activities.

Both parties had an in-depth discussion about the Sunwah Innovation Center. Mr Kim shared that KOTRA has been acting as bridge connecting South Korean start-ups in the fields of Information Technology, E-commerce, Services, Online Education, etc. with Vietnam. He was delighted to introduce South Korean start-ups to Sunwah Innovation Center and believed that the Center will achieve remarkable success in the near future.
Mr Kim also expressed his pleasure and honor to participate in the large-scale event for the 50th Anniversary of Sunwah Group in Vietnam. Additionally, he promised to introduce Korean film and media companies to Sunwah for the International Film Forum Hanoi. He also thanked Mr Jesse Choi and Sunwah Group for offering venues for KOTRA’s future activities in HCMC and believed that there is significant potential for cooperation and exchanges between both parties.
